All About Chassis Tuning

When it comes to setting up your vehicle, suspension tuning is the final piece of the puzzle. Your suspension plays an important role in how your car handles, but it’s also crucial to safety and performance. If you get this part wrong, you could be putting yourself at risk on the track or in other driving conditions.

Properly tuned suspension will keep your tires in contact with the road or track in any situation, which means that you can trust that they’ll be able to handle your commands no matter how hard you push them. When your suspension is firing on all cylinders, you’ll see a marked improvement in every aspect of your vehicle—from handling and traction to comfort and control.

Finding the perfect balance between comfort and performance takes work; however, once you nail down those basics, you may find that all those little things about driving become easier than ever before!

The true goal of suspension tuning is to improve how the car handles; in other words, its ability to maintain a course through turns, braking, different surfaces, and weather conditions. To keep the right course, you’ll start by Increasing ground contact or tire grip as you travel through a corner.

If your car is too stiff, it will bounce around on rough roads or during hard braking. If it’s too soft, it won’t be able to maximize your driving experience because it won’t allow you to control your vehicle. The trick is finding the right balance between these two extremes so that you have enough grip but not too much bounce.
